JVC LT-32X667 with a grey screen

What happens when you turn the tv on is the screen comes up solid white for half a second or so then changes to a dull grey. Pushing the buttons on the side appears to do nothing. I plugged this into my linuxbox and started up xserver with nvidia's debug mode on and it read the edid no problem, so I know the thing isn't completely fried.

I read that 90% of the time it's the T-CON board and although the fuse on it was ok I ordered a replacement anyway. Well the replacement just came in and I popped it on and sure enough I'm the lucky 10%.

So I read the T-CON could not be getting any power which would also have the same symptoms. So my question is how do I test this?

I would consider my electronics skills mediocre in comparison to what I've read on here lol

A picture of the t-con board would be very helpful, either the original or the replacement. A picture of the entire back of the TV might also be useful.

Since you appear to have a DMM, and have the skills to replace the Tcon, checking voltages should not be too difficult.

Luckily I took a bunch of pictures when I first disassembled it. The tcon board is the one from the tv, not the new one. All pictures are full size off the camera.

As for testing the voltages and finding the problem part I just don't know where to look.

I took it apart and looked around more thoroughly for bulging caps and burn marks, there are none. The t-con is getting power so unfortunately its not that.

Any advice on where to focus my attention next would be greatly appreciated.

I had some time to go over everything with a meter and there were some incorrect values on random parts but the D-AMP PWB had some of the most consistently off.
