Hi! Just wondering if anybody has a schematic for the subject Power Supply Board?
Below information is with 5V shorted to PWON.
The PFC circuit works (360V on big caps), but the controller IC (SSC9522S) that drives the two MOSFETS (High side and Low side) is not sending out a Gate drive signal. The datasheet indicates the following;
"In startup operation, the IC starts a switching operation when the IC satisfies all conditions below - VCC pin V > 11.8V, VSEN pin V > 1.42V, CSS pin V > 0.59V."
When I power on, I have VCC @ 13.94V, VSEN @ 1.69V, but CSS @ 0V. I can't figure out why. The capacitor connected between CSS and GND is good. I've also changed the IC, but no luck (same symptoms).
Here are the measurements after applying power;
Pin 1 - 1.69V
Pin 2 - 13.94
Pin 3 - 0V
Pin 4 - 0V
Pin 5 - 0V
Pin 6 - 0V
Pin 7 - 0V
Pin 8 - 0V
Pin 9 - 2.15V - 1.53V (swinging back n forth)
Pin 11 - 0V
Pin 12 - 0V
Pin 13 - 0V
Pin 14 - 0V
Pin 15 - 0V
Pin 16 - 0V
Pin 17 - 0V
