Try unplugging lvds cable at a time going from the tcon to the panel. See if you get picture on half a side each way.

Hello Storyteller12, I did but I guess I broke the rules. I selected picture from the tools menu but it said enter url, well I don't have a url so I went to a free picture hosting site and posted them there and pasted the links on my posting today which got promptly deleted. Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

good morning! I have a problem with this Sony. The image has a pattern of black horizontal lines, I attach a photo of the lines. The power supply is external and emits a sound. I don't think it's because of that. Let's see if someone can help me. -
As stated by the person I collected the TV from, it just stopped working overnight. However, I still gave it a go to try and repair it.
There is a thread on the same TV but with slightly different issues where they had to tape connection points on the ribbon cable, so I want to see if this is repairable by any chance.
After bringing it home and plugging it in, the TV turned on with its backlight working but had no picture. After removing the back cover, the first thing I tried is to unplug one of the ribbon cables and the situation is as follows.

I have a Sony Smart TV XBR65X900H that started to have horizontal lines on the right side of the screen (see attached picture). When I played video on Youtube green horizontal line at regular intervals(1/4") across the screen.
I replaced the T-Con board but the lines are still there.
I believe this issue is from the Main Board. Before I replace the Main board, I wanted to seek advise if this is the problem from the Main board or something else?

First. it has no picture at all. i solved it by covering the ckv lines using tape to to block the connections
Second. now has picture but with vertical lines that follow the image. tcon board ic overheating
tried blocking LC lines too, but same results
is it lcd panel issue or tcon board issue?...
