good night! I pass photos of this tv with vertical stripes. what problem could it be? panel or tcon? the tcon of this model is integrated into the panel. Let's see if they can tell me what to do to see if it can be fixed. the vertical stripes have a certain pattern, because there are some equidistant.

Re: Lg 55LB700V with vertical stripes
with LG i never saw T-CON integrated at panel. they are all separated or on Main boards
if you don't own this Tv then let your finger out... if you have it under hand then open it and post photos of the Panel buffer boards.Comment

Re: Lg 55LB700V with vertical stripes
Good afternoon. Thank you very much for your reply. it may be that I was wrong. I meant that the tcon is on the long boards attached to the panel. However, I am sending you a photo of the main board, because perhaps it is integrated into the mainboard. I hope I have understood your request. It was difficult for me to open it because a screw on the base was destroyed. If you see tcon, indicate the zone, and what tests to do, to see if it is tcon or panel. A greeting and Thanks forward
If you need more photos, I'll send them to you.Comment

Re: Lg 55LB700V with vertical stripes
Good afternoon! when trying to open the tv to be able to disconnect the ribbon cables, I have seen a large corrosion in the lower part of the panel, so that is where the problem lies. I'm going to try to clean it up and see if I can save it. I'll contact you again when I've cleaned it up, if you have a solution. Greetings and thank youComment

Re: Lg 55LB700V with vertical stripes
good morning. in the end there was no rust. I have disconnected a flat cable each time, and the result of the photos comes out. There are stripes in both situations, in one fewer stripes. it has a solution?Comment

by Daren87Hello everyone,
I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the... -
by ahoonidHey everyone,
I bought a MacBook A1990 with no screen. I bought it knowing the motherboard was defective but wasn't sure what the problem was until I received it. It actually turns on but as you see from the attachment, it has vertical stripes, on an external screen!!
The board is neat. Not opened before for sure. Just a little dust, nothing more.
Recovery using wifi can be opened, as can also be seen in the photo but it doesn't go all the way through after connecting it to a wifi. It downloads the initial Recovery files but never completes the rest of the... -
by kevinmanHi, TV boots with distorted image right side mirrored verticaly sometimes vertical stripes making off-on turns picture to normal and "perfect" (netflix image) that I highly doubt this is something related with t-con signal lines?? rather it looks software corruption bad mem chips voltage collapse or an intantaneous fault with fluctuating powerboard voltages?? As it happens usually when TV is cold sometimes fault comes back after a full day use should I check powerboard voltages with oscilloscope??4 Photos

by halenHi all,
I have Hisense H55U7B TV with no picture, only big vertical stripes. I did several tests and I'm not sure, where is problem.
1. Connected tcon to 12V, white, red, green, blue, black picture visible in cycle on full LCD without error
2. Connected only left side of LCD to tcon, big stripes
3. Connected only right side of tcon, visible normal picture on the right. Working as expected.
Where could be problem?

by advantThis thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.
I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match... - Loading...
