    And how can I find them? I mean, there are no markings on the small boards, just the capacitor numbers C- etc

    Some lines can have no influence, the lines to be blocked are the clock lines usually are 8 but can be less, check on the screen's small boards if there are test points named CKVxxx you can also discover to which pins are connected by using multimeter..

    no you' ve not understood, the faulty part of the screen is the right part, so you have to put tape only on right half and not so, you start from far of side and shift 1 pin per time only not 8.. but only 8 pins covered..

    Hahaha, no I am not fat person, just a normal guy that used to do alot of sports. Not slim, not fat.
    Talking about the u ribbon , i don't see any signs as I have not worked on them, maybe just some fingertips

    sorry to say.. your hand very heavy at work.... u keep it so no fix.. or u try while it on. smoothly make pressure on the u ribbon or in the cofs ribbon which goes to lcd from both side.. if u find any better change.. try to fix it by load.

    First two pics are from the left side of the tv as you look from the back ( right side front)

    Last two are from the right side of the back( left side front)

    I hope when you said puffer boards, you meant this.

    No it's not you Gbb, it's that goofy guy that keeps crying panels shorted every time he sees a line or two, which it could be a bad panel but could also be a LOT of other things as well, we all know his name.

    I completely agree with you, but there's nothing else I can do but try things. So far, the only thing that worked was changing the MB, now I got back to having an image. I would also change the caps on the lower boards where the the flex ribbon connects, but honestly I don't see which caps are they or the name, so I can order some.

    Despite what one member says, lines on the screen even lots close together doesn't instantly mean a bad panel, it could be as simple as a bad cap on panel driver boards which technically is a bad panel, or cap on mainboard or cap on powerboard or something else on one of the boards, those who jump to conclusions quickly, NEVER make good troubleshooters AND they are sooo f@#king irritating.
