Philips 47PFL4606H/12 turns off after 10 minutes

Hi

I have a Philips LCD 47PFL4606H/12 that turns off after around 10 minutes and then i cant turn i back on again without removing the power cord and attach it again. Then it turns itself off again after some minutes. When this happens the red led that usually indicates standby mode is off.

Can it be the same problem as in this thread?

Yes. You can use a hair dryer to warm up the chip and you can check if it speeds up the shutting down interval.

These chassis often have problems in the power supply due to overheating of the TOP264VG, after replacing it, the TV stops turning off.
