    LG 70uh6350 no picture

Hey, all! I have a LG 70UH6350-UB.BUSMLJR that does not power on. The standby button is lit but pressing power on the television only causes the standby light to flicker once very briefly and remain lit.

I have torn the back off the TV and am trying to diagnose if its a main board or power board issue. The legend shows various 12v and 24v pins however the 12v legs I do get a reading on only show around 7.5v. If I hit the power button, and set max hold, I see the 12v pins go to almost 12v and the 24v pins hit 24v.

My guess is that this is a main board issue and the voltages I am reading are standby voltages and something is functioning enough on the mainboard to briefly wake up the TV but nothing happens. Certainly not an expert though and open to any and all input.

can you post a good straight on picture of each board and one of the whole back, as to see how everything is connected.

Hopefully the service manual posted is what you need. I will need to return to my dads house (his TV) in order to get any more pictures.

The service manual states to check the 12v/24v pins and says to check ST-BY 3.5v but no specifics as to which pins. Is that 3.5v the one illuminating the standby light? If so, I have not verified voltage but the light is on.

For posterity; Replacing only the main board resolved the issue.
