ah yes.

The EMP-400W is basically the same device as the 400We —sans the security features.

The factory default password is to hold down the number button and press 1793 on the remote control

one of the buttons on the remote may act as a shift key.
obviously it cant be 0-9, so there are only 5 others to try
i wonder if the original control pcb / switches are still under the orange panel?!

We had these in the school where I worked. We used the remote control to unlock them.

for sure . I will take the risk to short them and see what will happen, even if i am not sure that i will remove easily the password this way

i think it will always have a password, but if you reset it then atleast you know what it is.

I need help ,i have epson emp 400we ask for password i try hold down num botton and enter 1973 or 0000 but nothing no error nothing just screen show that epson emp 400we have password

need how reset password to factory default or if someone have a dump eeprom or firmware for epson emp 400we
