The 350W Rosewill in my spare 3200+ computer my brother uses at the lan party (I wish he would just build his own already, that ECS with OST's needs to rest,) is starting to concern me. Its really chugging out hot air, it always runs the fan at 100%, but its never been this hot before. At least it keeps that part of the room warm, but still, its a trooper to still be running after 3 years, and it came free with a $25 dollar case.
Anyways, a guy at the lan party upgraded his power supply from a logisys 575W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817170017) to a 750W PC P+C silencer. I know this logisys is a trooper, too. It ran dual 8800GTS's in SLI without 'sploding somehow. It has dual 80mm fans (don't know how much they actually move,) Now, I'm wondering, should I buy it from this guy for about 20 bucks, or get this Astec 425W off ebay to replace the 500W rosewill in my server, and replace the 350W rosewill with the 500W rosewill from the server?
