Meanwell SP-100-24

I am looking for service manual for a Meanwell SP-100-24, I have one that I am trying to repair myself, I collected many notes on this, tested all components, still dead. I am new to this but I am learning thru this.

I hope of any help or support on this.

service manual? i dont think they exist - even the maker probably only has a schematic and board layout

Schematic Diagram will be fine, I found one for the SP-320-24 but it is not clear.
Any repair Tips/notes on this?

Hi,

I applied 20VAC, and tested the waveform on the filter CAP C5, show proper DC ... I checked the pin7 on the PWM shows shorted it should be the VCC.

I tried to identify the components as much as I can as per the attached photo,
but still I need more info identifying the following:

1- Startup & run DC DC components.
2- location of the B+ in the sampling circuit. F/B
3- How to check the regulation circuit? & identify the sampling, error & feedback circuits.
4- Identifying the protection circuit? SP, OVP is it only the PWM?
5- PFC circuit ? only D1 & Q1?

make sure it's not just that shit chipsocket.
it's rare to find a socket in a psu unless it's a machined-pin type because of contact problems or chips working lose as they get old.

The IC U3-FAN4803 socket I installed myself, just for easy replacement & testing other IC's, the original unit comes with no Socket.

I found this interesting document includes the SP-100-24 schematic diagram.
Nice document.
But will be nice to ad more info to this, key testing points/to verify proper functionality of the power supply.
