I thought this was a usual cable problem, turns out the psu has no output voltage and the primary cap doesn't charge.
During further inspection, I found that the AC filtering common mode choke has 1 of its 4 legs disconnected. I removed that choke and as you can see in the photos, the pcb has burn marks around the cut leg.
It seems strange to me also that the AC adapter label doesn't state who the OEM is. I was unable to specify it even after opening the case.
I checked the coil and I din't find it shorted (between Live and Neutral) or open circuit.
What do you think caused this fault? Should I try to reuse the coil?
