NAD C541 Cd player Negative rectify ?

Anyone know how this negative rectify works ? This schematic is from NAD C541 CD player, the input is around ~ 15v to 17v AC, output should be -22V, but I only got around -11v. I checked the capacitor diode, or resistor they all looks OK.

d510 acts as a voltage regulator.
what voltage goes into the transistor?

It's a charge pump voltage doubler. Check the diodes and capacitors. A failed diode or capacitor will disable the doubling function.

Repairing the Hitachi DA-6000 CD player
        by nervous_capybara
        Hello everyone !

I recently conducted maintenance on a Hitachi DA-6000 CD player for my grandparents : it had two distinct issues.
Feel free to share your experience if you ran into other issues.

DISCLAIMER : BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN OPERATING ON THIS SYSTEM : THE HIGH VOLTAGE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE VARIOUS TESTING POINTS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION

CD tray would not come out of the player
I could hear a motor spinning inside the player but the CD tray would not come out.
Turned out that the issue was the CD tray belt that aged poorly and began to...

        TV backlight zener diode
        by unimatrix93
Hello everyone, I'm repairing an LG TV backlight and I noticed some strange behavior when I touching the backlight strip with a missing Zener diode.

So I replaced the leds on the strips and they seemingly working fine, but soon as I touch the strip which has a missing Zener diode the whole backlight turns off for a few seconds and then turns back on.

Is this caused by the missing diode? If so what kind of zener diode should I use to replace it?.

The led strips has 9 6V leds.

MBR3045CT and SR3045LCT Schottky diode testing help.
        by Baste
        Hello experts,
Can anyone educate me on how to test MBR3045CT and SR3045LCT Schottky diodes? I'm totally a newbie in electronics, so forgive me if I have cheap tools. In my effort to repair a Gigabyte PSU, I stumbled upon the two diodes, which I suspect are leaky. I tested this with my two cheap multimeters and the newly bought LCR-T4 MC328, and I got confusing results. Below are my test results.

        Aneng ST182 Meter.

        Diode mode.
        MBR3045CT:
        Diode mode
        Pin 2-1 - 0.150v
        Pin 2-3 - 0.150v ...
