    CyberPower Smart-UPS OL2000ERTXL2U not charging.

So i have this UPS Cyberpower OL2000ERTXL2U that is no longer charging the batteries and i would like to try and figure out if its fixable ? It did throw up and error message on the LCD saying Charger Failure and so i powered it off and back on again and it no longer shows the error and seemed to be fine. But the batteries just go flat now and it dose not show any errors other than batteries low.

Have taken some pictures but i dont know where the charging circuit is or what parts to look out for to replace. Everything looks good. No swollen or leaking caps. No burnt or discolored components.

If anyone can point me in the direction of the charging section i might be able to check its components and see if i can find what might have gone bad ?

    Cheers.

I think i found it (the charging circuit). And i also found a diode that's gone bad on that board. Measures continuity in both directions.

      Hello, all.

      Cyberpower Battery Backup Unit.

I bought two new ML18-12 batteries through Amazon (They have already refunded my money for the two batteries as we thought the batteries might have been bad.)
When I got them in, they were not fully charged. I connected them to the UPS and waited 24 hours before connecting any networking equipment.
In parallel, they read 24v, but within 24 hours, the meter on the front of the unit dropped from 4 to 3 bars on the battery charge indicator.
Checking the voltage, it was down to 22v.
      I quickly removed everything...

      LA-L246P Not Charging Batteries
      by orientalsniper
Hello all, I've tried multiple batteries, replaced the charging IC (ISL95522AHRZ) and updated the BIOS.

It detects the power adapter (90W), so the DC IN jack is okay.

It shows "IDLE" instead of "Charging", battery health shows "Excellent" on the BIOS.

      Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
      by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...
