    PSU Corsair AX1000

Hi Folks, I doubt to solve, this source in question seems to fail randomly, the computer freezes (during this sometimes you can turn it off from the power button on the case button, other times you will have to hit the switch that comes with the PSU) the failure is completely random and it can be an hour of turning on the computer 4/5h Either open a way to save a log of the source so you know what happens at the time the computer freezes, when I turn it off and on again it works normally and the Windows Event Viewer doesn't read any errors

I hope someone can tell me the path to follow, if you know of any testers with workload or who keep a record of spikes or voltage drops I thank you in advance

So, can you check questionable psu on another test known good motherboard, also a different known good psu on freezing motherboard... do not attach anything else.
Check and monitor all voltages are present and in range, not fluctating, before and after freezing, also check power good wire. Also check if on some rails have AC ripple present in mV...
Check and put new termal paste and ensure to heatsink fit nicely.

thank you for taking the trouble to tell me, I had already repositioned thermal paste the problem is not heat, the computer may not be doing anything and it freezes, you can watch YouTube for 4hrs without stopping and nothing freezes sometimes it happens in an hour in 4, my surroundings has similar hardware I took the PSU and lent it to a good friend I have been using it for 4 days and I A said that nothing abnormal is happening on your PC, Then I can deduce that my motherboard is in trouble

Xiaomi router freezes at boot after re-capping
                by hinisa
I'm using Xiaomi Router 4A gigabit edition as wireless repeater. It worked fine for 2 years or so, but last week, wireless started to disappear.

When I unplug/replug the power, it was working fine for a day/half a day or so until it freezes again.

After testing with different power supply adapters and concluding it wasn't the issue I finally opened the case and this was the situation:

Anyway I proceed to clean up the mess and replace all caps but unfortunately it made the situation worse. Now router can't even boot, either it freezes during...

Random Shutdowns/Startup Failure with Corsair SFX 450
                by h0m3w0rk
                Hello everyone,

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with my Corsair SFX 450 power supply. After an undefined period of operation, my PC will either suddenly restart or, in some cases, it won't start at all until I disconnect the power cable and reconnect it. This erratic behavior occurs intermittently, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact conditions under which it happens.

For context, I have tested the PSU using an electronic load at 150W, and under those controlled conditions, it functions flawlessly. This leads me to...

Corsair CX750M [Model 75-002019] - burned output toroid inductor
                by momaka
Looks like I may need a little help from the PSU experts (or anyone really! ) I have a Corsair CX750M (Model 75-002019) that I picked up for free about 4 years ago. This is the PSU:

So here’s what’s strange about this one: it appears to work normally (normal output voltages) and any PC is stable with it. However, after a while (typically 10-20 minutes, but time can vary depending on the load), there is a sweetish smell of burned magnet wire insulation emanating from the PSU. Upon opening the PSU after this happened (many times), I was able to confirm...

Corsair RM1000e - Help identify 5VSB Zener diode
                by hobostove
Hey there guys. I've got a Corsair power supply that's come across my bench dead. I usually don't mess with power supplies, but it's a slow week so I'm giving it a whirl.

Taking it apart I heard a screw rattling around inside, and when I got it apart I found a couple blown components near what I think is the 5VSB area.

There's a 22ohm resistor that's melted and open, but it still has the bands.

The other part is a zener diode and it's top went to jesus, so I can't read the marking.

It looks like the diode connects the source and drain of a TNY284...
