No backlight HDLCD19WB SANSUI

I got this tv after I think it was hit with lightening. At first it did not have any power. I found a shorted diode (the one under the black arrow in the pic) so I replaced it. Now the the tv turns on with sound and graphics. The problem is is that the back lights only flash for a second but will not stay on. I checked across the large capacitor and it shows 176 V on standby and 176 V when I power the tv on. The cap is only rated for 200 V. Any input?

Measure the resistance across the secondary coils of the backlight inverter transformer. They should be roughly the same resistance. The secondary side is the side closest to those two white connectors.
