    when i remove controller resistance is 4.1k Ohm in one way and another is 9.2k Ohm i other way

    Yep this is the standby power.

    Ok, can you please remove the small heatsink on that chip, and tell us the part number?

    yes, is is a 0V, actually it is 0.2V.

    I did not connect wire green + ground), but if this is stand by 5V it does not matter.

    Do you mean to connect the instrument directly to the capacitor or between ground and capacitors.

    When i connect across capacitor there is 0V, but when measuring from ground and capacitor there is 84V

    That small transformer is for the standby power supply.
    On the high voltage side of it, there is a control chip under that small heatsink, and there is a capacitor right next to it (gold print on black plastic, Ltec brand). What is the voltage across that capacitor? It is C9x.. I can't see the rest of its part number because the silicone glue is on the pcb.

    resistance is 385 Ohm,
    voltage from center of STPS10L40CT to the ground is 0V, i check allmost all pins on secondary side and its all 0V, i only found 2V and 0.4V marked on picture.

    Next, what is the voltage from the center pin of the STPS10L40CT, to ground? (With the part soldered in)

    When you measured the 5v standby before, did you have all the other components soldered in? If so, check your solder joints, and check to make sure you didn't make any solder bridges.

    I noticed that on the primary of transformer i have (+) but i do not have (-), so on secundary is all output 0V

    OK. I got the rocker switch figured out thanks to the good advice on this forum.

    Now I need to figure out the correct wire to go to the switch from the broiler element and from the oven element.

    This is a Whirlpool RDE3340 electric range.

    The common wire on the switch appears to have a high temperature insulating material. I am guessing that both the wire to the broiler and the wire to the oven elements also need relatively high temperature insulation. What do I need to look for? The broiler is rated at about 2400 watts.

    Where may I find parts...

    Hi to all forum members,

    Got this faulty 350 watt atx psu dirt cheap from a local online seller as i am keen to use it as a learning tool to repair faulty power supply.
    The faulty part is quite obvious from the burn area near the 16pin KA7500 BD pwm. The fuse is still intact with good continuity.

    Upon power on ac, there is 5vdc standby power on cathode of diode D14 and about 10vdc on cathode of diode D13.(This should be the aux power to generate the 12v and 5v rail.)
    Initially i replace the two burned resistors near my marked red arrow to 200 ohm resistor...

To cut a long story short, around May 2023, while traveling, I connected the laptop into an electrical outlet that was already switched on.     I currently have a customer's vintage fan on the work bench to repair.
    It uses an induction motor with 4 poles. One of the poles is open.
    I couldn't find the break so i cut off the original wire.
    I have measured the other poles and the resistance is about 28 ohms per pole and I measured the diameter of the wire with my digital calipers and it is 0.35mm in diameter.

    I need to work out how much 0.35mm diameter enamelled copper wire i need to order for it to be 28 ohms. I have used this calculator and it says i need 160.35 metres.
