I have a Corsair TX650w ATX PSU that had gone BANG!
Checked the circuit side of the PCB and found a nice black patch, a SOT23 Transisitor had blown and also took out an SMD 20ohm resister on the secondary side. The primary side fuse had also blown.
I replaced the SOT23 package, resistor and fuse... everything else looks ok, seems to test ok and have good continuity throughout the board.... Problem being that every time i try to test this supply it blows the fuse at the plug as soon as it is switched on.
Any ideas to what it may be?
I will post some pictures soon
