Help to identify part on Sharp lcd tv power supply

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I hope I'm posting in the right section.

On a trip to pick up a family member I was lucky enough to find a Sharp LC-32D47UA TV on a curb. I brought it home and found that the power supply had a few issues. Some of the traces following the AC input were burnt and lifted. Three other parts were also damaged, a 250v fuse, a varistor and another part I cannot identify.

I found a picture of the same power supply board on ebay and was hoping someone could identify the part. Its the part marked with an arrow and sort of looks like a mini halogen bulb.

I included pictures of the damage for those interested.

I appreciate any help or advice that is offered. Thanks.

Please repost in the TV section. That is the gas discharge tube for spike/surge suppression.
it will show open circuit = good.
That yellow orange disk that is blown is the MOV for the surge/spike suppression. It looks like it has been hit by lighting or 240V.
MOV is connected between Hot and Neutral after the fuse, when it conducts, it will blow the main fuse.
You can have a lot of damages in this TV, depends on how far the surge had traveled through the TV circuits.

If a power line surge blew away half the MOV, launched the gas discharge tube, shattered the fuse and vaporized traces, that TV (or its power supply) may only be suitable for recycling. That's a lot of damage!
