It works OK.
It's very high efficiency from the start, usually over 90% at 230v, so at the average 100-150w loads computer have nowadays, it's not a problem to dissipate 10-25 watts of power.
The 12v fets (or whatever they are) are on the bottom of the pcb and heatsinked to the whole case just like with the Seasonic X series power supplies... so they have a lot of heatsink, in the computer case.
