Re: ok...Zippy, PC Power & Cooling, Antec and OKIA??

    @JEDIYoda,
IIRC, once a guy on ocforums said something about failure caps (teapo) and he said pcp&c response that they promise not to use the caps again.

I was thinking all along that the newer pcp&c would be teapo-free. Do you have a PCP&C PSU? What's the production date? What caps inside it, Teapo, (J)PCE-TUR or what?

I really feel that Teapo should make a press conference (of this year or next, not in the past) about the quality of their product and invite us to review their manufacturing facility -- maybe.

If there are any bulletin/note/message/mail from teapo to mobo/psu maker to convince them to use their product, i would want to see one.

For now i just very disapointed with their quality on my old epox and abit board. Their crapness is for real, im not lieing.

What i want to see is they admit they got problem with the old product but somewhat the newer is far more better.

Or they have a very good explanation (in blaming another) that the faulty somewhat come from a very complex result of using the GSC and Jackon they usually partnered with or the cheap crappy PSU (they usually partnered with ).

Some people have the principe that if someone lie to them, they would not trus him forever, no matter what (ofcourse an exception for who admit the mistake and begging a mercy).

If abit or MSI would go to bancruptcity because they admit they got problem, let it be. The pathetic ones is ECS and others who remain silent, now they being a most bigger manufacturers because they sold amazingly cheapo board in the past. That's low.

    /RANT

Put the hatred aside and i can see why silverstone (enhance), thermaltake, epox, and other still use them (teapo). Probably they are jus fine now (for the next 3-4 years :P).
days are so short when you actually do something..

Devil's advocate here: Or maybe the engineers that designed the motherboards and other devices that used the failed Teapos spec'd an undersized cap to begin with?
Rest in peace BFG. You were... a job...

        I presently have 2 PC Power & Cooling PSU`s!!
I have the Turbo Cool 510 Deluxe as well as the Turbo Cool 510 Express/ SLI.

As far as TEAPO Caps go its very hard for me to believe that they have made there reputation for quality and reliability as well as service using TEAPO Caps!!

I have heard it assummed that they use TEAPO Caps based on somebody research that somebody had done with a PC Power & Cooling PSU!!

Do they now for sure still use TEAPO Caps? I really don`t know!!
Whats I do know is it appears that if they do still use TEAPO Caps unlike other companies the good people at PC Power & Cooling have come up with a way to use TEAPO Caps with no bad results!!

My take on this would be I seriously doubt that they still use TEAPO Caps yet I am not going to open one of my PSU`s up to check on that...lolol

The oldest PC Power & Cooling PSU I have is somewhere between 6-9 months old.

Also in the scheme of things I would doubt one persons word --

        Have a nice day!!
