    Hipro D2537F3R - worth recap?

Upon visual inspection it has a single bulged Teapo. It's a big mofo too...crammed in right by the secondard thingies...
    Worth replacing in this PSU?

Came out of an HP Pavilion a510n - honestly I don't even know if the PSU worked fine as I didn't ever turn on the HP PC until I replaced it with a Dell PSU, upgraded the RAM, added an AGP video card, and put in a hard drive...

So should I re-cap the PSU? or ditch it?

I love the HiPros... So easy to recap... Lots of room to work, no high value caps in extra small sizes that are impossible to get...

Yea, I've got two HiPros here... I'm waiting for Newark to get FKs in stock so I can order caps for a bunch of PSUs I need to recap.

Some of the manufacturers learned their lesson... I'm seeing more and more UCC KY caps in newer models' reviews.

Yeah it definitelly is. I believe they desing their PSUs so even bad caps live long, but you never know. Beside the caps HiPros are pretty much decent.

Yup. go for it. I often see hipro PSUs with bulging teapos after only 2-3 years. I've never had one not work after a re-cap.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

              Morex Int'l ATX-300C, worth a recap?
              by Bungz
Thought I would have a look inside this as I had a issue with a system freezing ( socket A Thunderbird system)

Thought it was a odd design, what do people make of it?

Edit - Nothing visual wrong, obviously may start with a recap but swapping the PSU solved the freezing issue.

I like older socket A systems so these older PSU that are weighted towards the 5V rail always catch my eye....

Looking for someone to recap Dell XPS T450 motherboard (Live in suburbs outside of Philly)
              by varunviolin007
              Hi guys,

I’m looking for someone in the Northeast to do a full electrolytic capacitor recap on a working Dell Dimension XPS T450 motherboard (it's an Intel 440BX, Slot 1). The board runs mostly fine but is beginning to freeze after warm reboots (turns back on for 30 secs or so and then freezes up but is perfectly fine after 12 hr cool down).

I’d be sending just the bare motherboard (CPU, cards, bracket, battery all removed). I’m located in Chadds Ford, PA and happy to ship within the US.

Looking for someone experienced with older PC boards who uses...

Recap motherboards :: Abit KG7-LITE and Soltek SL-75FRN2-L
              by Foetuss
              Hi all

Hope this is in the correct place.

I'm planning on recapping both motherboards. I actually already ordered recplament caps for them, where I will be changing out most for poly's.
Could use some double checking to see if I'm not doing something stupid .

Pictures of the boards are attached.
What I will be replacing with what : (planned)

Got 4 LG L222WS 22" for free - psu recap
              by goodpsusearch
Got 4 CCFL 16/10 monitors for free.

The resolution is almost Full HD (1680x1050)

VGA Input only is a bummer though.

Uses cheap TN panel with terrible viewing angles.

Even though this is not 17" 5:4 screen, still has very low resell value here. Can be found for 15-20 euros.

All the 4 monitors were not working and needed psu recap. Used mix of mediocre / junk caps to recap them, then donated 3 of them to friends/relatives and kept 1 for myself. Also like to install extra caps on empty spaces to help them last longer.
