Imac Power Supply No voltages except 20-24 volt only

    Imac 17 Power Supply
    661-0293 180W
    API3PC94-290
    03K22-0006I Rev A
I get 23 volts on pin 22. No other voltages on the other pins. I measured between the capacitors of 318 volts.
There are no 3.3, 5, or 12 voltage

Re: API3PC94 Imac G5 Power Supply - No voltages except 20-24 volt only

There are at least 20 threads here dealing with these PSUs and their problems. Use the search function and do a bit of reading.

The API3PC94 is the board model and can come in different cases, such as your 661-0293, but may also be found in 661-3351 and 614-0293. Cases got switched about a lot. That's why it's best to rely on the board model number for troubleshooting.

If there is 20-24v, there should be 5v standby also, since they both come through the standby transformer. If not, that's the place to start troubleshooting.

    Welcome to the forums!

when i measure it outside i found that only 1.3V on SDA/SCL pins. no PS_ON voltage or other voltages

what can i measure to have better understanding where is problem?

anybody know what voltages should be...

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
      by Capacitorial
      Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
      On The TCON...

iMac A1418 - No LED, no power after overvoltage on Ethernet port
      by ryogadan78
Hi guys, I need your help again.
I have this iMac from a customer that shut down during a storm along with all the other devices in the house. In particular, the router, connected via Ethernet to the iMac, caught fire.
When I removed the screen from the iMac to check the status of the LEDs, I noticed that none of them were lit. I had a perfectly compatible and working power supply, so I tried it right away, but the problem remained the same (no LEDs). With the thermal camera, I noticed only a slight warming (32 degrees) of the NCP1605BG chip on the power supply. The rest was completely...

      iMac M1 DFU restore issue
      by Stephen
iMac turns on no drops no cracks, tried to DFU Restore the iMac, logo turns on great! however iMac turns itself off and then restarts to the (!) icon and won't post the restore. Tried thunderbolt 3 cable, tried regular USB C cable and nothing.

this is the message it gives me with the error

Unexpected device state 'DFU' expected 'RestoreOS' (Probably forced into DFU mode externally) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFAE (4014)].

Any thoughts what this could be? I will open it up and repair it but I am not 100% sure since this iMac doesn't...
