Imac G5 Power Supply Reliability Testing

I have a 20 inch Imac g5 no iSight power supply that I'm recapping for a friend. Before I give it back to him I want to make sure that I did a good job recapping it. I have the computer to test it it, and it boots and runs fine for as long as I've left it on, a couple hours.

My question is, is this enough to say that I've repaired the power supply correctly? Is there some software I could use to load test the power supply? I don't want to give it back and have him come back a month later with it bad again.

I'm an EE but I didn't focus in power electronics, so I don't know very much about power supplies, mainly what I've learned reading the forums here.

    Thanks for the help

If you can load the unit to 50-60% of its labeled rating on each leg, at the same time, for several hours, I'd say you did fine. Monitor the voltages and have a small fan blowing into the supply. Heat is the biggest killer of these and the system fan does a poor job as it only draws weakly through the supply.

I use a combination of power resistors and auto headlamps to load supplies. A little work with ohms law will give you the resistor values needed.
