    typical "outrush" NTCs in inverters?

Anyone have a good idea what kind of resistance and energy handling I should target when subbing output NTCs on power inverters that have burned beyond a crisp?

Any good rule of thumbs anywhere?

My first inclination was to use something similar to inrush NTCs used on ATX PSUs and scale by the number of watts that it needs to handle...

Ahh pieced together one and it's TL10 010
20mm 10 ohm, 10 amp... oh this is going to suck to replace them all.
need to find a cheap replacement...

Speaking of these ntcs, What the heck??? How can you connect them in parallel?

btw, I should have mentioned these are kilowatt range DC to AC inverters, not for gas discharge tubes

Anyway I think I may have to make a substitution here...how it's currently designed is ridiculous.

        By unpopular demand, carnage!

BTW I'm *this* close to just putting a jumper or fuse in the place of the NTCs...

(I ended up sticking in a lone 3 ohm 15A NTC temporarily after finding this power inverter is horribly designed - the case cannot be earth grounded!!!)

Design of CCFL Backlight Inverters with Frame & Bar Cores

          Summary

Portable devices, such as notebook computers and personal digital assistants are developed rapidly nowadays, which places an increasing demand on display technology. The LCD with cold cathode fluorescent back lighting satisfies the requirements on display performance, size and efficiency.

The backlight inverter plays a crucial role in supplying the power to the lamps of these flat-panel displays.

The frame and bar ferrite cores, described in this brochure, are especially designed...

Protection Pin Shutdown in PWM Controllers & LCD inverters

How to remove the protection of the inverter - several ways to protect shutdown in popular PWM controllers, LCD inverters.

When repair and diagnosis, it is often necessary to check the individual
inverter circuits - power converter lamps illuminate the LCD panel.
Carry out the necessary measurements is sometimes not possible, the
generation of breaks for various reasons, for example because of the
          imbalance in the loads.

Together, artists and researches different options for the repair of
conferences were blocking inverter protection in order...

What are typical ripple voltages on a laptop motherboard?
          by Antonynl
I have here a HP pavilion hp 15-cs2975nd with a 1.095v power supply that is driven by a FDMF3035. I do see about 80mV of ripple on my scope. I searched through the datasheet to find possible values of the ripple but I don't understand the datasheet well enough.

          So I have two questions:
          1) what is the typical ripple voltages of gpu/cpu on a laptop or pc mobo?
          2) what would be the max ripple of a FDMF3035 that drives an output of 1.095V?

Would be nice to have a rule of thumb of say a percentage of the supply voltage to be an acceptable ripple voltage....

but how could you make it different from any other pc...
well it is so complex i felt a need to make a block diagram image just so you know what you are looking at, still not convinced to look at the images...
spoiler warning (highlight the hidden text below):
PC has a cable modem, audio amp, and a networking switch built in and i even got a 20 year old sound card in there on the modern AM4/B450 platform and the case is quite old, and just to top it off it powers a pair of speakers and a pair of DACs outside of the case

          Micro inverters
          by wozzie
Just wondering if anyone here has played around with Enphase M215 micro inverters . Just would like to know if there is a way to communicate with these inverters without the envoy module .
Any help would be much appreciated
          Thanks
