So if there is no cmos is there any other path to try the bios? I’ve tried draining battery, I’ve tried disconnecting battery and all from mobo and then draining residual power from mobo and nothing has reset the bios.

The bios has NVRAM ,non volatile ram. There`s a few ways to reset it.If the laptop boots into the bios reset defaults. If it won`t boot here`s a risky method, which i won`t talk about as it could cause further damage. The safest way is to make a bios backup using an SPI programmer, then post your backup in the bios requests sub forum, and someone will help you fix it.
Hello guys I'm new to board repair. I would like to primarily focus on PC boards, so I picked one up, but now can't find any documentation on it. I found one post with boardview on this forum but it is in a .fz format which my freeboardview program doesn't want to open.
If someone has a PDF of the schematics and the boardview .brd file I would greatly appreciate it.
