    Boardview needed for Asus ROG Strix B650E-F AM5

    Hi

    Me and my 16 year old son have picked up a faulty Asus ROG Strix B650E-F from a garage sale

    It boots, but after 15 seconds powers off with a USB overcurrent protection message

    Please could you kindly provide the boardview as I am keen to develop his interest in to troubleshooting the usb fuses and USB protection diodes.

    Alternatively if you are a passer by and have sucessfully fixed something like this before would be keen to hear your troubleshooting method

    We are thinking , bios update by bios flashback first

    Then checking usb fuses

    Then checking the usb ESD diodes

    But please let us know if anything else we should check
