    Hi all,

    Recently I was donated a defective MSI A520M Pro rev. 1.0 mainboard, that I am now trying to get back on its feet again. The error description when I received it, was that it wouild not boot, with the CPU error led lighting up.

    When inspecting the board with a magnifying glass, I noticed someone had slipped with a screwdriver when installing the CPU cooler. Not just once, but 2 times at that. Go figure. In the end the result was 2 scratches with damaged copper traces and a few knocked off (and missing) components around the RT8894 PWM controller. No wonder the...

    My TV suddenly stopped working and on diagnosis I have determined that the mainboard has failed, I am having trouble finding the exact part online and wondering if I can substitute the part with a mainboard from another market.

    I have some questions on the matter:
    1. Has anyone actually run a US (-15333V / -15684U) or Chinese (BN94-15296C) board in a DVB-T2 market set? I expect to lose the tuner, but does the smart hub / HDMI / apps side come up cleanly,

    Hello everyone,

    I got the TV (Philips 55OLED707/12) for free and wanted to see if it is possible to repair it for a reasonable amount of money/effort.

    Symptoms: Turns on fine after power plugged in, works for a bit, could be one minute, could be a couple, then stops responding to remote. Image and sound turns off relatively shortly after (5s-few mins), only Ambilight stays on.
    After it dies, only way to turn off is by pulling the power.
    It seems like it is somewhat load-dependent, that is, if i use it as a monitor, seems to work a bit longer, if i try browsing...

    Hi everyone,

    I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
    I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

    In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

    The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

    Hi, i have a Asus laptop and after reflowing the drmosfets chips 2 of them get instant burned when i press the power . These are NCP302155 and the others are SIC651CD and are ok. PVBAT_GPUSOC and DGND get shorted when the mosfets get burned.Al the voltages looks good. I have replaced the twice with same NCP302155 and got burned and after that i have replaced them with NCP302150. Any ideea?...
