by EpicFixHey guys, I need a little help here. I have a MacBook Pro A1708 820-00840 stuck @ 5V. Started off affecting just one port but now it's affecting both. Both CD3215 ics were replaced but the issue remains. One port does a loop and the other stays at a constant 5V. Both CD3215 have 3V incoming. I checked for PP3V3_G3H @ R3000, C3100 and C3108, R3001, C3200 and C3208. The weird thing is though that the ammeter shows the current draw (5V @ 0.5A) coming out from the port as opposed to it going in. Any ideas on helping me fix this?

by AlexVGHi everybody
I have Macbook A1708 820-00840
It goes through all steps to start
exclude last steps power PPVCCCPU_S0G and PPVCCGT_S0G
Besides, no exchange on
CPU_VIDSCLK
CPU_VIDSOUT
However CPU_PWRGD is OK
CPU_PROCHOT is down.
I replaced SPI dump from here:

Unfortunately did't help me.

by SimplebeansAs some of you may be aware i had recently acquired a liquid damaged Macbook Pro A1708 820-00840-a which was not powering on, power issues sorted and it was down to a shorted capacitor, please see my original thread on this if you would like to find out more (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=103060)
