Hi all,
I need the BIOS (bin files) to re-flash the BIOS chips on a toshiba laptop.
Why I am pretty sure I need this to repair?
1) Power supplies seem OK.
2) Battery has been replaced, is charging well ... also not the CMOS battery CR2032, also not OK without RAM, or 1 or the 2 RAM modules (RAMS are OK).
3) Laptop does really rare (seems random things) with the 3 leds (power, net, ...)
4) In the past, when trying to restart 100 times via power button, it was sometimes succeeding, now no more.

by Pedro147I was fortunate enough to be given bvr and schematic files for these two boards yesterday. The board files are not available unfortunately, so please do not ask. Both FBV and OBV will open bvr files. Happy repairs and thanks to our benefactor who is generously supplying the community with these very late model files....

I've got a pair of speakers with an amp built in to them in for repair and on inspection I can see the TDA2030A amplifier ICs have blown (so I've ordered some spares which should arrive soon):
My quesion is with regards to the white paste you can see on the TDA2030A and heatsink, I'm assuming this is just some thermal paste and if so is it a special kind or will the grey thermal compound that I have...-
