I've disabled an account that several people shared and gave unique accounts to each person that still wanted to upload files. I somehow forgot about you.. send a new ftp account through pm.

Anyone that wants an account to upload something can give me a private message and say so.

        Re: Motherboard schematics archive?

        Greetings everyone,

Have just joined site, main interest is learning about laptop motherboard repair.
I am familiar with most of the components on board and vaguely how they work in a circuit, troubleshooting them however is a different ball game.

Would I be wrong to say most of the common faults are usually with FET'S, Mosfet's Caps and Graphics IC's?

Can any of the more knowledgeable members give me a steer in what the best way to approach the subject?

Any useful Equipment recommendations e.g. has anyone used Leakseeker on a laptop? having viewed the EDS presentation on youtube the engineer demos the device on what looks like to be a very old PCB which has nowhere near the density of circuitry and components of today's laptop motherboards . He talks about nodes and traces which are obviously old terminology?

Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in anticipation

                          Well hello there!

I'm pretty new here, but I just have a little trouble with my asus x51RL laptop, and I can't find the schematics. There are some similar like X51 T12 - T12R or X51C, but the actual "RL" version would be nice to have. Any idea about it? Btw. it doesn't respond to the power button, I've tried many many tricks with the adapter-battery-reset stuff.

My laptop died on me about two years ago. I went through the basic recovery steps a few times and eventually, after plugging the battery back in for the xth time, a capacitor blew up on the board. Weirdly enough, the laptop then booted (battery removed) and has been running without issue ever since.

I'd eventually like to examine the board in detail however I've had zero luck searching for schematics/boardviews for my particular motherboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ASUS TUF B450-PLUS II motherboard schematics, or does this 60B SMD resistor even matter?

I think it would be dumb to toss a "modern" motherboard just because a resistor got scraped off, so here I am. I am hoping to find the right schematic so I can see if the motherboard can live without 1 of 3 60B SMDs in series likely scratched off by the backplate of a PCI-E card install or removal. It could be related to a functionality that is not needed or critical, or it could fry anything I plug into it and power on. If I could find a replacement, I could likely pop in on the board, but if I don't need to, then screw it, I don't mind leaving something dark that doesn't matter....

                                            Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could provide schematics for the HP ProBook 455 G9, with motherboard DA0X9SMB8D0, revision D. I have a machine here that I'm trying to repair (water damage) and I've searched high and low for schematics, to no avail.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
