    Advent k200 motherboard schematic 37gl50200-10-rev.01

    Hello,

Has anyone got a schematic for an Advent K200 laptop. Motherboard is 37gl50200-10-rev.01.

I need to locate the BIOS chip on this board.

The laptop seems to work, apart from it has a BIOS corruption (CRC error on POST). The Phoenix BIOS then asks for a password (which should not be set, probably due to the eruption?) and the "hash code" password generator doesn't work. I have removed the CMOS battery, but I can not get it to reset, so I think I need to dump the bios and have a look at it or re-flash it, but I cannot locate the bios chip!

    Thanks.

Asus ROG Strix Scar G533qm with a G733qm Motherboard, can I modify the Bios to accept G533 Bios
    by glovecaps
    Hello,

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.

My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this...

ASUS ex-b250-V7 motherboard bios corrupted - by me
    by oragano
hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...

Is it okay to flash stock bios onto the motherboard's BIOS?
    by AkaBukai
    Hi there,
    I have a 14" Lenovo Laptop (Flex 5 14ALC05) which has a boot issue.
The little LED on the power button is flashing slowly and nothing happen.
This unit do not have any BIOS button cell battery so I tried many times draining the power but it is still not powering on.

So I decided to flash the BIOS using a cheap programmer.
And I was successfully able to read the content (exactly 16MB file) which BTW is a WINBOND 74m12jwsiq (according to the package inscription - but detected as W25Q128FW in the software - IMSProg on Linux)

    I also...

    ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
    by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
    Some issues
    A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

    Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Locate BIOS chip on Fujitsu D2156-S21 GS3 motherboard
    by Askic
    Hello,

I have a Fujitsu motherboard D2156 that cannot post. So I suspect that BIOS became corrupted. However, I'm not able to locate a chip on the motherboard that could be the BIOS. The pictures are shown in the attachment. I have no idea where BIOS is located. Recently I have reprogrammed BIOS chip on Asus motherboard and it was 8 legs chip from Winbond.

However this Fujitsu board is pretty different.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you!...
