yes...use the HxD program and cut it to size...compare with the original bios also with the HxD program and see where to start cutting..Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Re: lenovo flex 5 15ALC05 black screen
it seems that the bios from station #2 works.. enter your bios from station #2 and the extract from the website in HxD .. look at the header of the bios.. look for it in the extract... after you find it from there down select 16MB and extract...Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Re: lenovo flex 5 15ALC05 black screen
Hello,
I have the same issue described by @layad on that laptop: "no logo any more, boots with fan on , no display, caps lock is on all the time, no recognizing external display". I also disconnected the battery to see if any change but same: Full black screen (no light).
I suspect a BIOS corruption: Can you please explain/route me on the way to update the BIOS without screen?
Regards,
AlexComment

Hi
Please help me, I have the same problem. I updated the bios incorrectly, and the laptop only became a black screen, only the fan sound and the caps light! I am not an expert in updating bios. If possible, please provide detailed steps for me to apply in order to restore life to my device!Comment

I asked for the steps to update the BIOS for the black screen because I do not have sufficient knowledge. If this violates the rules of the forum, I apologize for that.Comment

I am sorry if I violated the rules of the forum, but I am new and I am in a problem and I saw this topic, which is the same problem as mine, so I asked for help. My device, Lenovo Flex 5 15ALC05, is the same device as the original topic, and I think it is the same BIOS. I updated the BIOS, but it seems that an error occurred during the update and it became... The screen is black. I found the update on the same Lenovo website. Now I don’t know how to restore the device!

by VcemPzdHello everyone !
My name is Chris, I am a 30 years old embedded software developer working in the automotive industry. I am really passionate about learning new skills and repairing/crafting stuff. I came around this forum last week with the goal of repairing my faulty gaming laptop, indeed, I was video editing on it when suddenly a black screen popped and never disappearedI bought some stuff to try to repair it and learn as many things as possible about computer repairs but nothing worked so far. When the black screen appeared, my legion 5 pro was connected to my external monitor...

by master3112Hello everyone,
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ALC05 NM-D701. When I press the power button, the fan comes on, the power button flashes but the screen remains black. The device has a current consumption of 0.7A. I only have a BoardWiever for the device and no schematic. I have already tried to rewrite the BIOS, but the behavior is the same.
I have checked all voltages and everything fits:

PL6201 - 3.32V

Hello,
YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo
I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.
On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.
I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.
I changed the battery with a new and original battery.
I also had corrosion/oxidation on the... - Loading...
