Asus Rog G752VSK rev 2.1 bios problem

this came in with no display,as everything looked ok I tried bios dump(g752vsk bios CLEAR ME.bin, attached),
the mobo booted perfectly, installed the os (win 10)but it swiched off very randomly.but my real concern is :if i upgrade it to vers3.05 on windows
upon reboot (originally vers3.02),i have no display, repgrammed the known working (version as3.02) dump and it works again.using ez flash utility in
bios it just stucks at the beginning of the flashing procedure, switch it off by power button(long pressing)nothing changed(still at vers 3.02).Anyone has any idea?

Re: Asus Rog G752VSK rev 2.1 bios problem

i had similar problem with g752vs...One bios dump only worked but when i tried to update or something i get black screen. I was also loosing display/or freeze from time to time. What i did noticed is that in cpu power management monitor software the cpu consumption was arround 1.35 volt...which is very high. When i lower the voltage the laptop was working fine..but then again..if i alter something in bios or similar i had the black screen. Couldnt make it work but i believe the problem was either the cpu or pch...cpu probably 95%...I think it needed more juice to work..but never tried to replace it.

[TUTORIAL] fix asus bios with bios from asus web support (by razor_amd)
                  by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
                  by pirati
                  Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
                  by cr4zychriss
                  Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                  Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                  Initial Findings:
                  • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                  • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                  • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                  Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                  • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                  • I concluded that the

                  ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                  by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                  Some issues
                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                  Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...
