If you are not familiar with taking a backup bios from your device, you can read this tread.

Hi, I need help with bios for HP EliteBook 830 G8, s/n: 5CG1265KKN. It does not start, checking with UEFITool it has a lot of errors, ME Region doesn't exist anymore. I did try with bios from #11, it starts after long time, ME is in Recovery Mode, it shows a message at startup that ME is corrupted, tried with CSME System Tool v15.0 to update ME Firmware but it shows FW Update is disabled and use MEBX to enable FW Update. Also tried to enable Intel PTT with FIT 15.0 but same error, can't enter in MEBX - tried with Ctrl-P and F6.

i deleted in Bios the Admisnistrator password with old password, but after it didn't allow me to modify the User password. Now i can't boot, enter the bios or do anything. It asking at boot for password, old password don't work...
Could you please remove all password related stuff from this bios. A hate Asus....

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
Password removal option for those who do not have a method through HPUnlocker.
This option saves all information in the BIOS (serial number, Windows key, etc.) and also excludes the appearance of BIOS notifications at startup (hp endpoint security controller problem).
1. Read BIOS (32MB) and EC (16MB) firmware.
Be sure to make backups.
2. EC:
2.1) Copy the area from the original and paste into a clean "EC (16MB) Clean".

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
