Re: HP DAY0DDMBAE0 REV E Bios
Yours is 5CD547BX8C, use it to find the support page for your model
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...ber=5CD547BX8C
Download bios update file, run the exe, select copy to save the extracted bios to a folder.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...36#post1259536
The bios update in your case has 4 different BID numbers - 0820D, 0804E, 0804F and 08035, find which one to choose by the matching BID in your bios backup
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...41#post1259541
Transfer DMI and Windows key from your bios to the one with the matching BID using Hex editor of your choice and following offsets:
DMI: 61CF00 - 61D0FF
Windows key: 63E000 - 63E03F
Program the chip with the new dump.
Done.

You can use HP Bios Configuration Utility to exit MPM mode.

Re: HP DAY0DDMBAE0 REV E Bios
Yes, you did a good job, I've just checked your file and it's OK.
As a remark - you choose the latest version (F.54), but I think it's best to pick the same bios version as in your dump (F.42) initially (to avoid any possible issues) and if you wish the latest version you can update it later running the update at the target machine by choosing "update the system BIOS on this device" option.
Below is F.42 bios with your DMI and Windows key, and I also fixed "Manufacturer Programming mode is in unlock mode" issue so you don't have to use the HP BCU later to deal with it.Attached Files----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
