I believe that you posted EC file, the main bios should be 8MB (I think), look for another bios chip on the board.I don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip. -

Yes I also find it very surprising that's why I joined it. It's a MX25L6473F chip next to the super IO chip, it's not the bios? I thought he was just corrupt...Comment

Perhaps there is something funky with your programmer, see pic of RT809H with the selected chip.Attached FilesI don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip.Comment

I am using EZP2019+ programmer. Indeed, this morning I did a reading and I got the right size?! I think I hadn't "tested" the chip before reading. If anyone has this stock bios to test on the motherboard, that would be great. And if someone could explain to me how to extract the MAC address and the serial number to inject it into the new bios, that would be even better

bios extracted from the HP website update, the laptop has three bios variants, yours is 08224I am using EZP2019+ programmer. Indeed, this morning I did a reading and I got the right size?! Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V.... -

Can't find motherboard ID, SPS is N44544-601
I am trying to unlock it, did all modifications in main bios to put it in MPM mode, after writing new bios at 1st boot it appears a message:
"Bios Identity Data Recovered
The Bios has recovered its identity data from Embedded Controller due to data mismatch"
and it won't start in MPM Mode. Someone please help me to disable this "Bios Identity Data Recovery", I don't have a clue where it is.
