I have a problem with the mentioned laptop. The laptop powers on but doesn’t display an image. I flashed the BIOS with a file I found in a Telegram group, and now the laptop turns on but very slowly, and it seems like it resets the BIOS every time. (The BIOS battery is working properly.) Sometimes it won’t power on at all, and I have to disconnect and reconnect the BIOS battery. This is my original BIOS dump, so I’m asking if you could help me solve the problem.

I did everything as described in post #32, I used the BIOS extracted from the Lenovo site that you mentioned a few posts above. Now the laptop powers on quickly as it should, but when I try to shut it down, it won’t power back on. Instead, it keeps turning on and off without showing any display. When I disconnect the BIOS battery and reconnect it, then it starts up again. As long as I use the Restart option while the laptop is on, there’s no problem and it works fine — the issue only happens when I use Shut Down. Maybe I didn’t do something correctly in HxD. Here’s the .bin file that I flashed, so if it’s not a problem, could you take a look at it?
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

RAM errors at first. After disabling the built-in RAM, it still freezes with a black screen. It won't boot. Please check the BIOS. Thank you.

by jendkkd jejeSo a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.
I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...10-11-2024, 03:12 PM -

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:

- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-
