      hi
I need a clean bios file and if someone can extract it from the old bios feature byte? because I did everything according to the instructions with hp unlocker and there is no password, but I have red letters and a countdown after turning on the laptop and I managed to insert all the parameters into the bios serial, sku..... but I only need the FEATURE BYTE, I can't find it anywhere

                      thanks for this,
but I already did it through hp part surfer and found that code, but when I enter it in the bios, it won't record it, it says that the code is not appropriate, I also tried via BCU but unsuccessfully, after restart there is still no feature byte in the bios.
so I just wanted someone to read it from the bios that I attached (both chips are read in the bios and EC and saved there in rar format) if this code that you, like me, found through the hp site and the one that is actually in the bios file are the same, then I don't know what else to do... but if it's a coincidence a code from the bios different from the one from the HP site would be great, because then there are high chances that the input will be successful and the "red counting" will be solved

                              Hi guys,

I am actually repairing a laptop. Ofc it's locked.
And I posted for help .... like an idiot on a Dell thread. Why ? Because I've put the laptop on a shelve ... and forgot about it for months. I tought it's a DELL not an HP until i've seen the screen.

I used all this time the WRONG tools. All dell ... I tried BadCaps patcher, and the patcher from github that combines all tools together (DellBiosTools 2.5) ...

Usually I manage to fix these problems. I've read the rules and I must say that I tried everything. I tried replacing blocks using UEFITool ... but I am sick of soldering / unsoldering the BIOS from the board --- onto the adapter (for programming in my Rutronix Baghero programmer).
I have multiple dumps, all match (to be sure).

So ... I don't knot what to do next. maybe try to replace blocks with uefitool until I "shotgun" the result ?

This thing is making me pull my hair out. If someone could help with something that's "unknown" or not public to me I would be grateful.

                              Model: 15s-fq2230nd
                              Prod Id: 39Z84FA#ABH
                              Serial Number: 5CD1201WF0

The dump is attached (and I am quite sure it's fine. Dumped several time and fc the files.)

Thank You for your time !

                                Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
                                Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76

Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...
