thanks for this,
but I already did it through hp part surfer and found that code, but when I enter it in the bios, it won't record it, it says that the code is not appropriate, I also tried via BCU but unsuccessfully, after restart there is still no feature byte in the bios.
so I just wanted someone to read it from the bios that I attached (both chips are read in the bios and EC and saved there in rar format) if this code that you, like me, found through the hp site and the one that is actually in the bios file are the same, then I don't know what else to do... but if it's a coincidence a code from the bios different from the one from the HP site would be great, because then there are high chances that the input will be successful and the "red counting" will be solvedComment

Try this bios and see if it will let you enter the feature byte againAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Don't post pictures unless asked...write with the keyboard..
post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow
read the forum rules..

I never realized that the chip has to be unsoldered and programmed outside of the motherboard.
Thats an impossible task for me, i don't have the skills and the tools, I just tought that it was possible to reset the bios password with some kind of software only.

You could use a clip .I think this model has a 16 pin chip, so you would need an SPI programmer, a CH341A would do, and a SOP16 clip. Using the clips is somewhat unreliable so you may need to make multiple backups until you get a good one.

I'm just letting you know what I've been doing, I removed the chip and entered your modified bios, after turning on the laptop, it did a security reset or something like that, the image passed quickly, so I didn't have time to read it. then I entered the bios (it didn't ask me for a code) but it asked for a feature byte entry, I entered it and it gave me the same INVALID FEATURE BYTE - CRC FAILED again. I tried again but without success. in the system I tried the same thing with BCU but nothing happened after restarting, then I repeated the process again via BCU and after restarting finally a screen appeared asking me if I want to record the changes where all the data is visible, including the feature byte. I don't know why he didn't want to accept the first time, I didn't type letter by letter, but copied directly from your post into the txt config file, and the second time he accepted....
thanks for your help,
it was solved successfullyComment

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by CityminHi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

by m1ch43lzmHi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...-
