                                                    hey all. was hoping for some assistance with my bios dump.
                                                    i have a dell 5510 with the 8FC8 suffix. I dumped the bin 3 times and they look like they match. needing help with password/hdd/compu removal.
                                                    the chip is a 25q256jveq if that helps.

                                                                The problem here is that the device is still under warranty, why don't they contact Dell support ?

                                                                    gotcha, dont know. they dont know much about computers hence they come to me. i didnt look that far into it.
                                                                    also if you buy used palletes of computers, the warranty transfer to whoever buys it?

                                                                                    Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

                                                                                    so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
                                                                                    in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...
