The procedure described in this post works.

    Good morning,
I erase the chip with asprogrammer and the ch351a.

After modifying bios 52 I send it in the chip with the ch341a 1.8v
I know that for many this seems obvious but is my procedure for modifying my bios the right one?
    THANKS.

    In your picture there are 4 F`s in the end-offset , it should be 3 . 1000 to 2FFF

    Good morning,
With hxD, I opened the glcn52 file provided on this site and my oldbios file.
I then copied the range from 1000 to 2FFF from my oldbios which I copied and pasted by overwriting on the glcn52 file.
I haven't written about the chip yet, but is this the right procedure?
THANKS Click image for larger version

Latest version of NeoProgrammer is V2.2.0.10
It's been discussed many times - choose the bios programmer according to your budget, please use the forum search before asking questions - you're starting to get off topic..

Is CH341a (w/volt selector) with another adapter ok? Any better?
NeoProgrammer v2.2.0 should be used to dump bios from the chip?

I didn't make any bios backups previously, so is there a way to extract bios backup/info or something else can be done?

Use the bios at post #14, transfer the DMI block from your dump or if you can't do it yourself, upload your bios backup and someone will do it for you.

Here's your New bios file, it's a virgin bios from Lenovo with your DMI so it should works fine.
Next time find your device thread or create your own.

    Hi everyone! πŸ˜€

Myself like most folks here a problem with BIOS as well (black screen, laptop boots up, LED's work), so I would like to ask if the Bios file from the post #12 would help my model?

I have tried all known fixes with unplugging CMOS, ram, battery drains... which ultimately led me here, considering the wide issue with this model.

    Lenovo V 15 G2 ALC
    S/N: PF3ASAJ1
    MO: PF9XB1C25040
    MTM: 82KD0041YA

    Old (default) bios: GLCN41WW
    Installed bios: GLCN55WW

Is DMI info unique for each model or do I have to do anything (make a bios dump from GLCN41WW or something) to have my version working?

Can I have a working bios with v55WW or a virgin v51WW is enough?

I'm new to the modding world, but I learn quickly, so I'm sorry if I haven't managed to follow something more thoroughly πŸ˜‰

It's a virgin bios for your model with DMI transferred, you won't find any better bios, if it's not working your problem is not bios related, or you didn't program the chip as it should.

    πŸ› οΈ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
    by macabook
    Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
    🧩 Initial Issue
    • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
    • External display (HDMI) shows

    ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
    by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
    Some issues
    A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

    Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
