Type the laptop serial number ,SNID or Service Tag , full name and model, motherboard model, etc.
post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

hi guys, im strugling with a latitude 3420 that im working on, it came without showing any sing of life, after reflashing the bios with one downloaded here of the same model, it turns on and then stays only showing the power light and won't turn off holding power. i wonder if some one can help me, this is the bios i stracted from it , thanks in advance.

Hello everyone
I am looking for some help to unlock the BIOS of my Dell Latitude 3420.
It is currently locked by a dell security manager password prompt.
Here are the details displayed on my screen:
System Model: Dell Latitude 3420
Service Tag:2TVP4B3
Suffix/Error Code:8FC8
Full string shown:#2TVP4B3-8FC8
I have tried the usual online generators but they don't seem to support the 8FC8 algorithm yet.
If anyone has the tool or the script to generate the master password for this specific tag.I would be very grateful.

post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
you need an SPI programmerComment

Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the... -

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
