My wife is after surgery, so i didn't tried file yet, but for sure will try today. As you mentioned, faster or later someone will ask "how did you do it".
I asked because lot of people write "here is your patched file, and why tf you don't use autopatcher" even didn't knowing it is not working out in this model

volinakis - you are my hero. It worked out. This will work also for other A485 (i see people already downloaded it) or it need to be prepared exactly for each mobo? I partially see in HEX where changes was done, but i'm for now too weak to understand how it works. Just see this file vs autopatcher is far different. To be honest i have 1 more somwhere hidden in the box with ryzen 5 and other (just working mobo with pass) with ryzen 3..

That's not a bad idea at all. We're happy but, if not enough funds are raised to solve the problem with the server, the whole section may be closed and then i don't know where you will find a place to "spam with dumps".

I see it is all about EVSA store, however i have only IDA free, so reverse engineering of what i see will take muuuch time for me or learning how work Lenovo translate service and then which GUID shall to change.
One day wife will be better and i will be boring..

I bought dead A485. Removed USB-C port that was shorted and now it has bios password.
I did take off the bios chip and read it.

I did the mod with autopatcher. Then soldered chip back. Followed the tutorial, it froze on going to bios screen. Soldered chip off and back to programmer. Programmed the previous unmodified dump and it then got to bios. (Y)
Did also 10$ donation.

You MUST:- Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. Not as a picture, part of the file name and so on.

Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

I have a laptop that was purchased second-hand, and I am able to boot Windows on and extract the BIOS dump (ONLY the BIOS region, I was unable to dump anything else due to an FCERR I received trying to dump the other regions) and use normally. However, because the BIOS is locked with a supervisor password, I am unable to use anything else except for Windows, and it has also disabled some hardware features of the laptop itself, such as the fingerprinting module, etc. that I really do wish to use.

Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
