    ASUS TP300LJ-C4040H fan running full performance after BIOS update

    hi
    A problem caused by the BIOS update to the machine,how can we find a solution to the problem, I would be very grateful if you help, vesko356 sent 3 bios, but the result is negative, I ask for help from our valuable Masters, I add my own BIOS that I read through

      The sticker is unreadable, or at least I can't read nothing to give me a clue in the right direction.
      I've sent you the file to test based on your bios and cleaned ME firmware (v.10.0.30.1072).
      Edit: And the latest update from the Asus support page TP300LJ-AS.208 + Clean 10.0.30.1072 ME firmware.

                                      With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

                                      For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

                                      I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

                                      I had 3 people contact me in a week because Windows suddenly didn't boot:



                                      As you can see, all 3 are ASUS computers, but I believe the common factor is the BIOS being American Megatrends (AMIBIOS/APTIO).

                                      The first two recovered just fine after a restart, but the third one didn't and was brought to me. The model is F541UV (X541UV).
                                      Setup allows to add a boot option manually and the operating system boots just fine from both bootx64.efi and bootmgr.efi. However, there is no way whatsoever to save the option(s): upon a reboot the machine goes straight...

                                      Hi!
                                      Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

                                      Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...
