Hello there, please my laptop only fan spin and black screen, i got an dump and also modified file from RCUnlocker, i already tried to flash original dump back but also with no luck no display fan spin after a while. Also tried Clean ME .bin files from this thread with no luck. The chip is being detected correctly as W25Q128JV, i got it soldered by wires from ch341 board. Also tried with brand new ram and cmos battery. Tried flashing with or without power adapter.

I thought the same thing about corrupted dump but i always do atleast 2 verify runs just to compare if the dump corresponds to flash. Also weird is that rcunlocker showed correct information from dump...

I need some help guys~ this laptop came in with a locked BIOS and went and flash the bios from HP web thinking i could do it this way but noooooo.. i bricked this HP -.-
lucky for me i had a backup but the backup is not working either, laptop boots but i get a blank screen, flashing lights. can someone help repairing the Bios file? i tried putting it though RCunlocker but did not work either.

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.
Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

Hello,
I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.
I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.
I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.
However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.

Hp elitebook 840 g2 turns off itself just after displaying the hp logo, in his MB there are two bios chips i tried to flash the main bios (16mo) many times with ezp2019 programmer but the problem is not solved.
I think it will be solved by flashing the second bios chip ! ! (2mo) but i dont find the file can you help me please... -
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored.
