I have a Dell Lattitude 5400 Service tag 2zl90x2 But it comes up with Cogizant on the splash screen before bios and the Security manager shows 2zl90x2-0001 Plz help I need a bios passwordComment

How do i do that? I cannot get into the bios at all. It is locked behind the Dell security manager password. Shows a black screen and a place for password. Says something along the line of this system 2zl90x2-001 is locked. yadda yaddaLast edited by drizzt460; 11-18-2023, 05:09 PM.Comment

i finally fixed my problem i cleaned the me region , now bios is unlocked fan working and you can write your service tag, this only for latitude 5400 with 16mb bios not the 32mb version i hope it helps

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, π π π ... -

Dear Sir,
I need help removing/unlocking the BIOS Service Tag password on my Dell Latitude 5520 laptop.
Problem details:
* Model: Dell Latitude 5520.
* Board ID (from BIOS file): TGL MB 8L 19819-1 (Southpeak15).
* Required Password Code: 3FE2 (BIOS Service Tag Lockout Code).
* Service Tag: (Enter your actual Service Tag from the laptop here)
* βBIOS Status: I successfully modded the BIOS file and created FINAL_CLEANED_ME.bin (32MB) with a clean ME region (CSME 15.0), because the original dump was corrupt.... -
Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.
