Try this New BIOS file, it could help you to Bypass the Password.

where is the physical bios chip on the board itself? i can't tell and am trying to use a ch341a programmer to dump it and erase the password
also does the chip use 1.8v, 3.3v, or 5v?

You look for the chip with the number 64 on its back. For example: 25Q64JVS..

You didn't mention your laptop model number, serial number and motherboard number!
You can send an image for both sides of your motherboard and we can locate the chip for you. Just remove every adhesive from the board.
