Thank you so much peste. I will keep you posted of the outcome. I had to order a W25Q16DV chip. When I tried to program it, it would not erase and I am getting write error as well. I had to wait few weeks to get the chip in from China.Comment

Thank you so much again peste. you were bang on with your suggestion. I cleaned up the BIOS ic legs with fresh solder and flux, and i was able to erase and program the chip without any faults. Best of all the laptop came alive.
. There is no words to thank you enough my friend. truly appreciate your assistance. .
