    Asus R540Y bios needed - help

    hello everyone

    i have laptop Asus model R540Y need bios rom
    but i am little confused, there is more than one model from the back

    like ( R540Y )
    and ( R540YA-DM497T)





    on the other side there is more than one model on motherboard

    like ( DAXKAFMB6E0 REV:E )
    and ( X540YA MAIN BOARD REV. 3.0 )
    and ( X540YA_IO_BD REV. 3.1 )





    i do not know what is really model i must search for

    so please help me to find the tested bios rom for this laptop

      post the backup of the bios, the name and the complete model of the laptop.

          i found bin rom for ASUS VivoBook X540YA DAXKAFMB6E0
          and it's working good

          i think someone has changed the SPI from 8 mb to 4 mb
          i replaced this SPI to 25Q64VB with new bin bois

              Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
              With original bios no POST, only LED lights
              With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
              Some issues
              A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
              B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

              Things I tried

              Hi there,

              I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..

              I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....

              Hello! After an automatic windows update - it went through a bios update that has put my laptop into a boot loop that gets shorter and shorter until it just powers on and off. I can make it almost to the login screen and I tried to start the factory reset, but it just keeps entering the bootloop.
