Asus rog zephyrus ga502iv BIOS FLASH WITH CH431
Hello I have an asus rog zephyrus ga502iv laptop and after a faulty bios update in which the laptop shut down cause it had no battery the motherboard bricked. The caps lock is always on and nothing posts on screen. After many things I have done disconnecting the battery and left it overnight, tried many key combinations at start, tried to connect it to an other monitor, I suspect that the bios is bricked. It's chip is an mxic mx25u12873f. I have purchased a ch431 programmer and I will try my best to flash it again. BUT......!!! I need your help guys the bios from the asus website is in bios.210 format. Does it need to be in .bin or .rom ? How will I make it to be .rom or .bin ? Does any of you have a clean bios file for me to flash it ? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

The mx25u12873f is a 1.8V chip, do you have the 1.8V adapter ? DO NOT do anything with it unless you have a 1.8V adapter !!! .Use NeoProgrammer software its better than the included soft - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...04&postcount=7 .Make at least 2 backups and compare them using the File compare function in a hex editor https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ .When you have 2 backups the same post your backup here in a zip or rar attachment and someone will fix the bios for you .

Also I have the soic 8 adapter and plugged it with it to flash it. It read it very well. But it didn't work. I flashed it using the file from asus website and changing it to .bin . I know I am a dumb4ss but I couldn't wait. It's my fault nowComment

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

I'm currently facing an issue with my ASUS Zephyrus GX701LXS, as it isn't posting.
I've downloaded the latest BIOS version, "GX701LXS-AS.311" (v.311), from the ASUS website.
However, there's a challenge – the file size exceeds the capacity of the BIOS chip, making it impractical for writing.
The current BIOS dump ("GX701LXS.307 bios-dump.bin" find attached), is of version 307.

laptop had dead cpu, 3x UP9030P, audio (5v+3v+MEM short) i replaced all, now laptop turns on, vcore=1.1V, vddnb=1v, vcore_gpu=0,7v, vmem=1.1, vmem_gpu=1,2v, now to not make this a diag req. - just extra info, basically:
original bios not available, dead bios chip, the laptop model is GA503RS, serial: N3NRCX13C597136, equipped originally with ryzen 7 6800HS, rtx 3080 - i replaced cpu, was ballsy, now there is 100-000000544 (i think its ryzen 9 6900HS/HX) - original bios behaviour=laptop turns on, cpu gpu warm, vrms continually get hotter, fan spin lower, gets faster with hotter...
